We are based in Brighton and buy music gear across the local area and the rest of the UK, including guitar pedals, synths, drum machines, samplers, MIDI controllers and studio microphones. There are two simple ways to sell to us, and both start the same way: send us the name of the item, a few clear photos and a note on its condition.
Option 1: Local collection
If you are in Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Lancing or Shoreham-by-Sea, we can collect from you and pay cash on the spot. There is no packing, no postage and no waiting for a buyer.
- We agree a price with you first, based on your photos and description.
- We arrange a time that suits you.
- We check the gear when we arrive. If it matches what you described, you are paid in cash straight away.
- If it is different from what you described, we will tell you and offer a revised price. There is no pressure to accept.
See our pages for Brighton and Hove and Worthing, Lancing and Shoreham.
Option 2: Post it to us
Further away? Send it in the post from anywhere in the UK. Once we agree a price, you pack the gear securely and send it to us.
- Postage is free on quotes over £250.
- On quotes under £250, the postage cost is taken off the offer.
- Once we have received and checked your gear, we pay by bank transfer within 24 hours.
- If the gear differs from your description, we send you a revised offer before anything is finalised.
Full details, including packing tips, are on our selling by post page.
Which one is better?
Collection is the quickest and easiest if you are local, and you get paid in cash on the day. Posting works well for everyone else, and for smaller items that are easy to pack. If you are not sure which suits you, just ask.
How to get a quote
Send us the model name, a few clear photos from different angles, and a short note about the condition and anything that is missing or not working. You can do this through our sell your gear page, and we will come back with a fair, no-obligation offer. If you are curious how we price things, our pricing guide explains how to check what your gear really sells for on eBay. You can also read our FAQ for answers to common questions.
